Warmline and Home Visits
Family Assessment
- Family relationships, child behavior, and parenting
- Adoptive Families -- Adjustment to new family, developmental delays, attachment problems, special needs of children coming from other countries, orphanages or foster care.
Developmental Guidance:
- The goal of Developmental Guidance is to enhance empathy, communication and self-esteem in parents and children.
- Individual Sessions with parents and children focus on understanding normal behavior and how behavior is affected by personality, temperament, stress and family circumstances.
- Parents are helped to understand how these stages affect their child's behavior, how to intervene when children's fearful, aggressive, or unreasonable behavior may be normal but not acceptable.
Parent-Child Counseling
- Infant Mental Health: children from birth to three are seen with their parents.
- School age children will be seen with their parents for evaluation.
- For issues involving family relationships, developmental delay, child behavior and parenting, attachment and separation or special family situations.
Warmline & Home Visits
